Rena Mundo Croshere and Nadine Mundo are a director / writer team based in Los Angeles. Known for their award-winning work, the Mundo Sisters’ cinematic storytelling captures raw, arresting visuals and emotionally charged narratives. The sibling duo works with some of the world’s largest brands including ESPN Films, CNN Films, Pepsi, Beats by Dre, Delta, and Timex. They were chosen for the highly selective Fox Directors Lab for episodic television in 2018. Their short film, “A Field Between,” about a former CIA operative produced for Peter Berg’s Film 45, was honored at the 2017 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. They recently signed a development deal with PepsiCo’s Creators League Studio and directed a brand film for Pepsi x Alexander Wang that garnered a billion views upon its release in China. They also wrote and directed a music video for Pepsi and Chinese pop star Leah Dou in Hong Kong in 2018.

The Mundo Sisters’ ESPN film “Rowdy Ronda Rousey” became the most viewed short in ESPN history. In 2015, the duo went on to create and direct “What Makes Us,” a series about elite female athletes for ESPN Films. Their feature documentary, “American Commune,” premiered to critical acclaim at the HotDocs International Film Festival and was released on Amazon. The siblings began their career at MTV, where they created and directed the documentary series, “My Life Translated.” Their films have screened at Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, LAFF, New Orleans, Woodstock, DOCNYC, Hot Springs, New Horizons, Thessaloniki film festivals. They have received film production and post production awards from Women In Film, The Jerome Foundation, New York State Council of the Arts, IFP Labs and San Francisco Arts Commission.
